What Purgy is

A storage cleaner for macOS. It scans your Mac, sorts what it finds into safe, review and locked with each item's size and reason, and clears the safe part in one click. It decodes the "System Data" category macOS will not explain, uninstalls apps together with their leftovers, and maps your disk.

Reporting a problem

These four lines usually let us diagnose it on the first reply:

  • Your macOS version and Mac model.
  • Which screen you were on, and what you clicked.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see.

If Purgy removed a file it should not have, say that first. We will want the exact path. If it went to the Trash it is still there, and you can put it back. SeeSupport.
